A Lesson on Lying

When people talk about others or you consider the source. Do they do the things they say they will? Are they truthful? Have you caught them lying (over and over)? A zebra doesn’t change it’s stripes. A lie is intentional not a mistake. You are how you act, not what you say. Likewise, don’t worry when someone lies about you. If people believe them, they either (A) don’t know you or (B) don’t know the person they are believing. Just like that person lied on you, they will lie to them and about them as well. Yes, lying is a sin, don’t get caught up in someone’s lies and gossip. Watch the company you keep. It speaks volumes.
The Bible says, “keep your tongue from evil and your lips from telling lies.” Psalm 34:13
